Finnish Glass Biennale will continue in 2027!

The Finnish Glass Biennale is an international platform and a luminous event week for contemporary art and design that connects the tradition of glassmaking with the future of the field, bringing together creators, audiences, and creative professionals from various disciplines. Above all, this event is for lovers of glass, art, and culture. The event was held for the first time in June 2025 in Riihimäki, Nuutajärvi, and Iittala. The next Finnish Glass Biennale will take place in June 2027, when the event will return on a larger and even more international scale.

Through exhibitions, events, and encounters, it offers experiences for glass enthusiasts and builds a vibrant network of artists, partners, and cultural audiences around the biennale.

The Biennale is organised by the City of Riihimäki, the Finnish Glass Museum, and Luovi Productions — founder and producer of Helsinki Design Week and Fiskars Village Art & Design Biennale.
