For visitors
The Finnish Glass Biennale takes place from 5–8 June, with events in Riihimäki, Iittala and Nuutajärvi. You can find the full programme here. The Biennale includes programme content for both the general public and creative professionals. Most events are free of charge.
The main venue is the Old Glass Factory in Riihimäki, located near the Finnish Glass Museum.

The main venue is open daily from 11 am to 6 pm.

At the main venue, you can explore the main exhibition of the Finnish Glass Biennale and enjoy a drink at the glass bar, which is open during exhibition hours (11 am–6 pm).
Entry to the exhibition requires a ticket, while access to the event space is free of charge.
Open public discussions are held daily at 12 pm and 16 pm in the event space. No pre-registration is required.

Riihimäki is easily accessible by train and is located along the main railway line—only about an hour from Helsinki, Tampere, and Lahti. It is also along Highway 3 between Helsinki and Tampere.

Free Shuttle Bus
A free shuttle bus will operate between Riihimäki Railway Station and the Finnish Glass Museum via the Old Glass Factory, twice an hour from 5–8 June.

Visitors can use city bikes to get around Riihimäki: www.kaakau.fi -
Tickets are sold by the Finnish Glass Museum, and can be purchased on-site at the museum or the venue. The ticket booth at the main venue is open daily until 5:30 pm. One ticket grants entry to both the museum and the main exhibition on the same day. The two locations are just 650 metres apart.

Students (with valid ID), pensioners, unemployed and conscripts: € 6
Children and school pupils (7–16): € 4
Family ticket: € 22
Groups (20+ people): € 6 / personFree entry with the Museum Card or Kaikukortti.
