Why glass?
I was born in 1983 in Chřibská (Czechia/EU), site of the oldest Central European glassworks dating back to 1414. Consequently, I had been exposed to the art of glass since early childhood, all the time developing a deep affection which resulted in enrollment at Nový Bor Glass School.
What inspires you?
Old glass masters and nature.
Thoughts on Finland?
Since my childhood I really liked Oiva Toikka’s glass. His design is full of splendid simply shapes. I often hear about Riihimäki, Iittala and Nuutajärvi – triangle of glass, so I look forward to visiting them.
